Early Action Help

I know that Early Action is non-binding and Early Decision is binding. However some schools have Restrictive Early Action.

I was wondering if it is alright to apply Early Action to one school and Restrictive Early Action to another school, or will they not allow it?

Thanks

It depends on the school! For example, Harvard has restrictive early action (or SCEA, pretty much he same thing) which means you can’t apply to any other private schools EA. But you can still apply to public schools EA.

This is just one example, to make sure you are following all the rules check each college’s website for specific policies!

On another thread it said you can apply to:

  • Public schools
  • Rolling admissions schools
  • Schools with an early deadline for scholarships
  • Schools outside the US

AND restrictive early action at the same time.

Thank you both! You’ve been really helpful.
