Hi-

"As an early action applicant, you will receive an admission decision by late December" - in the direct words of an admissions counselor

the notification date indicated is december 31, but apparently kids last year heard by mid-december. so to sum it up, you'll hear a decision between december 15th-31st.

Thanks Hakuna!

Northeastern Admissions

check her blog for the next few weeks

Thanks Marg1

marg, that site is SO helpful. thank you so muchhh!

i need to know nowwww ahhhh

So if we get e-mail notification first, will that say if we got into the honors program?

My feeling is that we will be hearing from them sometime next week. I read on the admissions blog that they are preparing for the next round of applications which probably means they are done reviewing the EA applications. I am going crazy from nerves waiting for this!!

Brit, I'm glad i'm not the only one who thought that! :)

I don't think they give you a decision in the email, i think it is just an email telling you to check the status check...i think on the status check/my.neu is where you find out about scholarships, etc.

^Haha, that's what I meant! Would we get that info on the status check site.

Thx for the response :)

if they're already done making the decisions, i wish they would just post them... no sense in making us wait.

Marg, i believe you are right...they send you an e-mail to check your status. I am sooo nervous i'm going absolutely insane ! i was talking to someone I know who applied EA last year and they got their answers on 12/15...that is in only a few days! Ahh. And also, the counselors had two additional weeks to look over the apps which means they could be out earlier than last year........imagine if they came out tomorow...I think I would faint.

is anyone else going to have insomnia until the decisions come out? if its just me, i'm just going to feel silly. haha

bri, i was doing fine until your ecstatic-ness rubbed off on me. now i have anxiety :-p

hahahaha yayyy i incited excitement in someone! but seriously, I'M FREAKING OUT.

for reference they began releasing decisions last year on Dec. 17th

^ i'm hoping it's going to be earlier than that because the deadline was earlier. =(

No one is more anxiety stricked than me. And YES I have been having insomnia worrying about getting into NE. Last night I couldnt fall asleep for hours and this morning I slept too late because of it! LOL....college admissions is realy interfering with my life!

OMG, same here, britpd13. With school, extracurriculars, my job, and now this anxiety over college admissions, I am going insaneee.
