Early Action Notification.. pshh yeah okay......

still nothing… will check before school tomorrow. FYI my status changed sometime between 4 and 6 pm
will let you know results tomorrow hopefully

YEAH just got the four week thing! Guess who’s going to be refreshing that page all night tonight lmao. Almost wish I hadn’t checked.

Got in! Now I juSt gotta wait for the mail to see if I can even attend (I need a 1/2 scholarship in order to go)

Got in this am… Thanks everyone and good luck.
Does any merit aid come in the mail or would it have been stated online?

Does anyone know…do you just get an email stating that you are accepted and the followup letter by mail let’s you know if you got the Honors College? Or do they spell any $ award and Honors C info in the initail email?

Junior: If it doesn’t say Honor’s College on the website, the you were not invited to the honor’s college. Merit aid will be mentioned in the letter in the mail.

@Alesteors, when does the letter come in the mail? I live in NH and just got accepted this morning

I applied mid-november as EA and I still haven’t heard back, from mail OR the online web admissions check. All it says is that I’ve completed all the necessary documents…its soo agonizing waiting this long! UConn is my #1!!

Bdangle - I’m not sure myself, I only know about Honors based on other people here. I got accepted this morning as well; OOS from RI. I’m in the dark about how long it’ll take but I’ll let ya know when I get my letter, as I assume it’ll probably be about the same time for both of us.

Letter took three days. Status changed Monday night, decision tuesday morning, letter thursday. in state.

Thanks Minnie!

Ok, it looks as if they’re making some quicker progress on these decisions :). I still haven’t heard anything (just checked), but one of the kids in my grade who applied a month after me got the email saying that a change has been made to his status. Thing is, he locked himself out of his account and won’t be able to check unless he calls admissions hahaha.

well my application wasn’t completed until december 16 because of some school mix-up but i have a 2240 SAT and a competitive GPA so i’m not too concerned with getting in…but they haven’t made any updates to my status at all. ah! i want this decision sooooo badly!

My D is getting VERY frustrated with the wait, and I don’t blame her. Her app. was complete on October 13. :/

Daughter got her merit letter today. I’m very glad I trudged through the snow to the mailbox—Presidential scholarship. (Tuition plus a one time $2500 grant for research or enrichment.) SO relieved. We went through some very tough times together (her dad left when she was a year old), and I haven’t been able to save much for college. She is still waiting to hear from her #1 choice, and to get her aid pkg. from her #2 choice. We know she got a merit half-tuition scholarship from #2, but without substantial other aid, it will be difficult for her to attend. Number one choice will not even notify of their admission decision until April, but they’re known for some fairly decent aid. She also has a reach application out there, but the school only has a 15% admittance rate, so even though she is qualified, I am not counting on that particular school. In fact, it was a last minute thing for her to apply there.

Anyhow, she now has UCONN and Bama as two viable options. I couldn’t be more thrilled!

Your application was completed on September 28, 2010. It is important for you to check your application status frequently. Your admission decision will be posted here when it is available.

STILL HAVE NOT HEARD!

WOW! Can you share stats? thx

not mine to share - my daughter’s

having said that - her stats make her a pretty good application based on our schools naviance program - and if it is going to be a rejection - post it already - it’s just WRONG - meanwhile - she already got into 4 other universities and has NO intention of going to UCONN anyway - it’s just annoying!

Son’s application was complete October 22 per Student Admin site. Mid-day yesterday the message changed to “Your application is complete, please allow 4 weeks for a decision to be made.”

How long did people have to wait after the 4 week status appeared, before a decision was posted?
