haha seriously - i was shaking before i opened my email from the University of Kansas - which is a state school, and you know how that is - you only have to meet one of three requirements to get in, so you know before you apply if you'll get in or not. it's ridiculous how nervous i get!

If I get on the 14th, my english professor is taking my class out to dinner, because you get to do stuff like that in college, and i'm going to open it there. that way, if i get rejected, i'll have people around me, and if i get accepeted..PARTY

lol some party with your professor there haha

I think it's been decided between my friend and I that if I get into Georgetown and he gets into Yale then we're going nuts next weekend. If we both get deferred/rejected, we'll drown away our sorrows and watch college basketball.

yeah, i'm the same way, i have a friend that applied early to harvard.
that weekend will either be really really really good, or i will just block it out!
(really hoping for option A)

It's all just so suspenseful.

I was wrong. If they follow last year's schedule, it will actually look something like this:

Friday, December 8th, 2006 - Decisions mailed (that's YESTERDAY)
Saturday, December 9th, 2006 - Decisions received in NoVa
---Sunday, December 10th, 2006---
Monday, December 11th, 2006 - Decisions received elsewhere

For some reason I thought the twelfth was a Wednesday last year...let's hope they arrive Monday! If you are from NoVa and you get a decision TODAY post it!!!! Then we will know to expect ours on Monday!

:-) Best of luck Paulus. I'm so nervous for the letter.

thanks, and same to you..

ahhh im nervous too

Wow. I am so nervous... I'm so far away from the US, and I guess it'll take the letter like weeks to reach me... Anyone knows if we will receive email?

A friend called the office yesterday, and they told him they would send the letters on the 12th or 13th, so that everyone would have the decision in hand by the 15th. Also, they said if you don't have it by the 15th, you can call them.

Good luck to everyone!

Kudonyo:

I received my EA letter by e-mail first.... since I lived in Brazil. You'll get an e-mail first too probably.

lolabelle,
Thank you so much~! So they probably email notification to international students. Wow.
They'll send the emails out EXACTLY on 15th? or could be earlier? when did you receive yours anyways?

i remember it was earlier than i expected it; but can't remember exactly when, sorry! it's been 4 years!

Oh thank you lolabelle..
So I'm checking my mailbox an unhealthy number of times a day now, lol

i just want to know. :|

I have these violent mood swings where I either know I'm going to get or know I'm going to be deferred. It's exhausting :(.

Of my tight group of four friends, one has gotten into Duke, one has gotten into Columbia... my best friend (applied to Brown) and I keep pulling each other up... just the last couple days (since friend #2 found out about Columbia) seems like a month. It's so stressful, and it feels as if I'll be the only one not to get in. Or at least get in early. I know I will get in somewhere, but still, it's scary.

ha, my best friend applied to Brown too. We're going INSANE.

one of my friends just got in to MIT, I'm positive the other will go to Harvard, and I'm almost positive I'm getting deferred--its nerve-wracking!!
