Early Action notification

December 20th.. almost here. hopefully it will be a nice holiday present. anyone know if nova notifies students of scholarships with acceptances?

If not with the acceptance letter, you would know a few days later. I heard of a case once in which a student was notified of their scholarship award BEFORE they even got their acceptance letter.

Good Luck!

haha thanks. so nova makes decision via snail mail and novasis?

Novasis, then snail mail. I'd start checking Novasis 2 days ahead. People who heard ahead in previous years were probably in consideration for the Presidential Scholarship, but they are doing that a little differently this year. Nominations for the Presidential come from your school's GC.

Check ahead, but it was December 20th (as previously promised by Nova) last year. I checked sometime between 10AM and 11AM and it was up. Snail mail came a week later.

i'm getting a little anxious because everyone is finding out about ED/EA decisions now. it's so exciting! haha

I received an email from Villanova about a scholarship.. here is a piece..

"As an Early Action candidate, we have surveyed your record and believe that you should consider applying for this scholarship."

If they are asking me to apply for a scholarship, is that an indication that I have been.. maybe.. accepted?
