Early Action Notifications Imminent!

Just got an email (Thursday 1/3 @ 7:02 PM EST) from JMU telling us to make sure our MyMadison application account is accessible because they are ready to load up the early action decisions. They said the next communication would be an email indicating that the decision has been posted to our account. Sounds like tomorrow (Friday) might be the day! Good luck everyone!

Does anyone know if it will definitely be tomorrow? I’m so nervous! I know that last year accepted students got a phone call before the decisions were posted on my Madison.

I just have to know now, I cant stand waiting anymore. I am at the point where I would rather be rejected than be deferred.

Last year, my daughter received the first email on January 5th (a Thursday) and her second email stating that the decisions were posted came the next week on Wednesday, January 11th. Her acceptance letter came in the mail early the following week. Phone calls apparently were made to out of state students, as we knew of no one (from my daughter’s school in VA) who received a phone call. Good luck everyone!

At max, possibly 10 more days… Hopefully not though. This waiting is killing me!

I think all Early Applicants feel like you. Keep good thoughts. Good luck to all.

I am so nervous and ready for this at the same time… Nothing yet. Been refreshing my email like crazy over the past few days!

:) Yay Sarah!

Dear Ms. Semp:
Congratulations! It is my pleasure to inform you of your acceptance to James Madison
University for the Fall Semester 2013.

I was admitted today too! Congrats!
