Early Action or Early Decision?

Does Brown have Early Action or Early Decision? I’m interested in this school, but I’m not sure if it’s my first choice, so I’ll only apply early if it’s early action.

This is true. You’ll find that schools sometimes decide to change their system after a few runs. This year, Brown U had an Early Decision (ED) and/or Regular Decision (RD) application option.

You seem to know that ED is binding, but don’t forget that it’s assuming that they provide you enough financial assistance [otherwise, you CAN go to another school].

Your best resource will be the schools’ websites. They’re getting better and easier to use every year. They have a ton of common questions answered under their FAQ sections; if all else fails, you can E-mail their Admissions or Financial Aid offices (if not other ones or people) to answer your specific question :)

[Let me google that for you](http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Does+Brown+have+early+decision+or+early+action%3F&l=1)
