<p>I've planned on applying early to Princeton for a long time. Even though I've been really busy lately, completing my application was my highest priority. I sent it in a couple of weeks ago.
Then yesterday I used the application tracker and realized my second teacher recommendation didn't go through. I talked to the teacher and they said I wasn't showing up on their list of students on the common app. I tried reassigning them on my common app account but don't know if it worked. Today is the deadline, and Princeton is my first choice school. If that teacher recommendation isn't in, do they push me off until regular decision? Am I not on my teacher's list because I already submitted the rest of my application? Is there any other way for them to submit a recommendation and it be received in time?
Also, I sent in my test scores at the beginning of October (took the October SAT and submitted my ACT at the same time) but they haven't been received either. Am I probably looking at regular decision?</p>
<p>I’m no expert but you could just have the teacher snail mail the recommendation. Also I’m pretty sure the deadline is only for the common app and supplement, I think recommendations and test scores can arrive slightly later.</p>
<p>No need to panic…you have a little more time due to some known glitches in the system [Princeton</a> Extends Early Action Deadline Because of Common App Glitch | TIME.com](<a href=“http://nation.time.com/2013/10/31/good-news-for-procrastinators-princeton-extends-early-application-deadline/]Princeton”>Princeton Extends Early Action Deadline Because of Common App Glitch | TIME.com)</p>
<p>I would concur that it’s probably a good idea to have your teacher “snail mail” the recommendation. An e-mail to admissions would probably be a good idea so they know to expect it in that format. Generally hard copy/electronic combinations are not permitted but given the circumstances it should be fine.</p>

<p>Thanks! I didn’t realize the deadline had been postponed. That’s a huge relief.</p>
