<p>I recently became interested in UNC and am seriously considering applying but I just noticed that I missed the EA deadline. Does applying RD put me at a significant disadvantage as oppose to applying EA?</p>

<p>Not really. EA isn’t like other colleges ED programs, it isn’t binding and it doesn’t really give you a significant advantage; at times, the EA deadline has more applicants than the RD. The most common reason to apply EA over RD is because your grades are already good and you don’t want to wait for your first semester grades to improve your GPA. </p>
<p>Although OOS does put you at a disadvantage for CH, it still doesn’t matter in regards to which deadline you apply by.</p>
