Early action question

I'm not quite done with my essays yet and I want to do early action (November 1). If I send my SAT and transcripts on, say, the 29th of October, will it be counted as early action or should I send them now so there's time for it to process. College board also takes like 2 weeks to send scores.

Why shouldn’t you send out your transcript requests & test scores? It’s not as if the college will just delete them b/c they don’t have your app in – they hold them in an open file for you.

You should request the test score and transcript reports at least 2 weeks before the deadline so that you would have a chance to track them before it is too late. Also, it will take longer to process when it getting close to the deadline. They will consider your application in Early Action if you submit your application and pay the fee by the deadline while everything else (scores, LOR, transcript) are received within the grace period.

Okay thanks guys!
