<li>Hook (if any): I'm a first generation valedictorian, but on the app there wasn't anywhere to say where your parents went to college so I don't think they knew</li>

My interviewer (which I had my interview on December 6th actually, so I don't know if it even made a difference..) said he couldn't see any reason why I wouldn't be admitted</p>

People that got deferred- good luck with the rest of your admissions to georgetown and everywhere else. Even if it ends up you go somewhere else, it's not the end of the world. It can actually be a great thing. I'm personally very glad I didn't get into Columbia because now I know that Georgetown is so much better for me. Most likely where ever you end up will be right for you.</p>

I expected it since my original scores were not that strong and they will want to see semester grades. Still hope I'll get in RD. I better get into my other schools!</p>
