<p>Well, I think they went entirely by SAT score as long as you were in the top of your class. Everything else about my app was, I thought, pretty good. I hold little hope for the RD round either. Very very disappointing. Good luck to everyone else; as my heart breaks, I will have to find a new #1 choice.</p>

<p>What it seems to be is that they mostly play by the numbers for early action, and then by regular decision take people with more consideration on other factors...</p>
<p>I wouldn't read too much into things. This board is probably not an accurate representation of the applicant pool and if Georgetown is trying to build a well-rounded class there is no way to tell what other people's applications were like. Also, someone's post on a board is very different from their application, and biased. I mean applications have personality and a post really doesn't so there is really no comparison. Basically, I don't think this thread is going to provide you with accurate answers to why or why you didn't get in unless you are at an extreme end of the spectrum, and most people fall in the middle of the applicant pool obviously.</p>
