1 day... oh my goodness i'm going to break a few land speed records getting home tomorrow

asci^^i am so jealous of you. i have officially gone off the deep end, i just raided my mail looking for anything that could prove that mail from the east coast will come faster than three days...and sadly all i found was a letter from my cousin in DC that proved it takes three days to get here :(

OMG ASCI!!!! GOod luck!! lets us know! I hope you get it tomorrow so we all have something to hope for for this weekend and monday...

asci... u dont even know

It is 4h26min to dc from my house, according to mapquest...

If they were giving decisions in person... i would be there in 45 minutes

arg i need to know!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i know people who are into mit, duke, columbia, and cornell.....i NEED TO KNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

asci, good luck!!!!

Hmm, mine will probably be here Tuesday, then....

alright will do.. and it takes me like 5-10 minutes to get home from school but i think i can shave it down to 2 mins 30 seconds.

asci...i've always thought the speed limit was more of a suggestion anyways :)

3 days to st. louis
no mail on sunday
monday it is then

there is one large street between me and school... speed limit 35, but school buses go 50.... im going to be maxing out my friend's punch bug... she hit 122 in that thing once, so no laugh's

im in ma... so saturday!??!?!?!? that might be pushing it. i hopeeee i get it then gahhhh

So, it's Monday for me, soccer4921, and everyone else similar distances from DC. This will be the most antagonizing weekend of my life. On Monday, my mom is giving me my Christmas present (Mab Book Pro!), I'll get my G'town letter, and my school is announcing Student of the Year (the only student who speaks at graduation and also gets his picture on the office wall for the next 25 years). How can I enjoy anything that I do from now until then? Any ideas? I've already thought of medication, so please don't suggest that!

^ hey pswib i've had a macbook pro for 2 years now you'll love it, especially the new ones. if you care it seems a majority of students there use macs.

but to pass the time, just keep yourself occupied. i've found myself doing more homework this week just so i don't think about it.

dv:
any indication of what TIME they were sent today?
lol i know that im pushing it

Thanks, asci. I'm glad to hear that you like your MBP. When I was at G'town this summer, everybody seemed to have one!

okay. i expect some of you dc people to get your letters tomorrow! dont let me down! or else!

:) and good luck!~

hahah once i find out that DC kids are getting theirs i will DEF not leave my house on saturday....i swear if that mailman tries to defy me and my gtown letter by showing up at 5 again, there will be hell to pay

At least those of us that won't get letters until Monday will have some idea where we stand tomorrow! RTHowe, my mail did not come until 6:03 (I watched closely) today, so I think we're in the same boat. I actually have a profane nickname for my mailman; I really dislike him and I think the feelings are mutual. One day he skipped my house entirely, delivered the rest of his route, and finally brought our mail after he was otherwise done. If I follow his mail truck in my car for an hour or so, do you think he'll just give my mail to me?

I used to mail letters to my uncle in New York, and it got here, to San Francisco, in two days if we sent the letters before noon.

I really hope you guys get in...ya'll are quite...dedicated to this.
As am I, which is why it will be said if and when we get deferred..:(
