accepted to SFS! wooo!

I'm located in NJ, and I haven't received my letter from the College yet. Some of my friends have received theirs, but they applied to Nursing and Health.

This is going to be the longest Sunday ever....

I've got Jazz Band after school until 5. Ugh, it's going to be excruciating!

Did everyone in California who got the letter = accepted so far?

I'm in MD, 40 mins away from DC but still nothing...

"Deferrrrrrred. But I did get into Notre Dame, soo.."

just shows why georgetown is better than notre dame

From a person who was actually accepted and a person who was actually deferred (not hear say):

Can you give the characteristics of the letters (both decisions) .... color of the envelope, very thin, very thick, any color paper that can be seen from the outside (straggling rumor)??.

As a kid living in PA who thought he would have his letter by now ..... I would appreciate your insight

Thank You

The U.S. postal service is so odd.

DVbball11 - You sure you want to know?

I kind of regret finding out because now I'll know before I read the letter lol. It takes some of the excitement out of it.

I really would like to know jude .... I would rather know right away than to be extremely let down because i thought the letter had the characteristics of an acceptance letter

do you see where I'm coming from??

same here. I'm curious about the envelope color too

Ahhhh accepted to MSB yesterday!!!!

P.S. the envelope is normally sized but I knew I was accepted before I read anything bc they package it so that a blue sheet (which I knew and saw was housing info) was on the outside when you start to open the flap. I only ripped a little off and saw blue so I knew it!!! Then there and two other white sheets saying congratulations on them :)

can you see the blue sheet from the outside of the envelope??

accepted!

wow this feels nice, i didn't expect it at all

it seems to me that the only difference between those who were accepted and those who were deferred is that the acceptees have near perfect SAT scores. id say the average looks like a 1550 :/

Yeah SAT scores didn't seem to play a big part for me. 1570 and deferred...

Wow, teamam, what were your other credentials like?

lol I guess it's like Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory. When Charlie opens the Wonka Bar and sees the gold foiling, he knows he has it.

I know what you mean, DVbball11. My friend showed me her deferral letter, so hopefully it won't be as much of a shock.

schools like this really are a crapshoot, it depends on the general feeling that the admissions committee gets when they review your app

i mean, it could come down to one being grumpy cause they're hungry you know?

i wish it was a more exact science, because i hate seeing people that should be accepted getting deffered :(
