Early Action - SAT Score Reports for College Admission

Hi everyone,

Quick question for you:

I took the SAT in Nov 2009 and have my scores. I also signed up for Oct 2010 but was sick, so I didn't go on the test day.

I'm applying early to Stanford University and I have to send my SAT score reports to them.

What will show on the score reports if I missed that SAT day, and will it affect my admission chances in any way?

And, will the scores be delayed in sending to the University b/c CollegeBoard will still wait for October 2010 scores before sending it out?

Thanks for your help!!!

Just another nervous high school senior...

I’d also like to know the answer to that question. I’m applying EA to Georgetown and I sent my entire score report, but I didn’t take a test that I signed up for last March and so the report reads “March 2010: Scores unavailable.”

Georgetown requires that applicants submit all test scores, so will they see that and think I have chosen not to show the score? Or is there some way that they will know I just didn’t make that test date…

YEAH same problem, b/c stanford doesnt allow score choice either, and i didnt take the test so yeah

On reports sent to colleges, College Board reports nothing at all about test that you cancelled and failure to show up for a test constitutes an automatic cancellation. It has no impact on anything you are doing.
