Im applying to most of the schools i want to go to by early action and i feel like i haven't even started the application process. I finished my common app essay but it hasn't even been edited and i don't even like it, its not strong and its quite short(307 words). I don't have any letters of recommendations, and I'm kind of stressing out.

So?

It sounds like you should not be applying early action if you aren’t ready. Luckily, you have plenty of time to get your essay written and letters requested before regular decision deadlines. If you rush to finish by the EA deadline, and as a result you don’t put forth your best work on the essay, you are harming your chances not helping them.
Take a time out and reassess whether it is your best option to apply early action vs. regular.
