Is the merit aid listed on the award letter or is it sent as a completely different document.

If anybody is curious about merit scholarship stats I got I think around $9000 in the Dean’s scholarship as an ASIAN AMERICAN lol w/ 30 ACT and about 3.86/4.34W EA business in finance

I got into Leavey with 2290 SAT and 4.0 UW GPA. I got an $18,000 dean’s scholarship, and about $11,000 in the incentive grant, which was a nice surprise.

@MiraCostaMB - The Merit Aid is listed in the same letter as the FA. Hope that helps.

Will it tell you if you did not receive any merit or does it just say “award access not available”. Im not sure if mine has been posted yet or I just didn’t receive any money :/.

^click on the tab that says financial aid award in the portal and download the pdf and it will tell you merit cash

Snail mail arrives today: Provost Scholarship, i.e., 1/2 tuition.

My daughter was deffered is this a bad sign?

Not necessarily, it just means she’ll be considered in the regular decision pool and basically have to wait longer to find out. They usually do this if they want to see your mid-year reports. @ohchad

Does anyone know if deferred applicants hear back before regular decision?

@memcg3 I’m pretty sure deferred candidates and normal rd candidates hear back at the same time.

@m2021appk Ok, thanks. That’s what I thought, but I was just hoping that maybe they heard back a few days before. My patience is surely being tested

haha same here @memcg3 . Got deferred from SCU and Villanova but accepted to Fordham from DC. Hoping for at least one of the two.

@m2021appk I was also deferred from Villanova. I got into the University of Miami. Waiting until March is awful. Good luck!

@memcg3 You too!

Accepted as a Presidential Scholar!

do you mind me asking $ amount? and for how many years? TIA
