I’m taking the act over October 22 because I got a 26 but I have an sat score of 1320. How will I do for EA @UGA
I have taken all honors with the exception of 2 regular history classes because my school only offers AP or regular ( history is my weakness) . As of right now I have only took 3 AP Classes ( Bio, Lang & Comp , US History) but it will be 5 by the time I graduate . I have a 4.3 W GPA and a 3.98 UW GPA. Vice President of TSA. Member of NHS , Golf Team , Math Team , Chick-Fil-A Leader Academy , Student Council , and a notable amount of rewards ( All A’s , Student of the month , Most Oustanding in H. Spanish 3 , APUSH , World History , H. World Lit and Comp , advanced algebra , analytic geometry , and Class of 2017 Georgia Certificate Merit winner from UGA) I’ve attended an ethical hacking summer program and pharmacy scholar summer program .
Hey! I know that it is kind of late, but your ACT will definitely impair your chances. UGA only looks at test scores, GPA, and rigor for EA. Your rigor is about average and your GPA seems to be a little above average (I’m basing this off of last year’s EA stats, which you can easily look up). Honestly, UGA is a wild card and even some of the best students get denied. It seems very random to me. Luckily, I have never heard of anyone being denied EA. If you get deferred, you can use all of your EC’s as an advantage. If you do not get in EA, you should have enough time to retake the ACT, which I would strongly advise. I also applied EA this year, and decisions should be released pretty soon (I’m guessing in the next 2 weeks though they haven’t yet announced anything). Good luck!
Don’t report ACT and use your SAT. YOU LOOK GOOD!
