Early action versus regular admission deadline?

<p>Are students less likely to be accepted at Hillsdale if they apply during the regular admission deadline? Also, does anyone know if the early action deadline is actually on December 15th or January 1st? </p>

<p>I am thinking about applying to Hillsdale, along with the other colleges and universities that I am considering. However, I think that I would have to apply under their regular admission deadline since the early action deadline is so close. Does anyone know exactly how selective Hillsdale is when it comes to the admissions process and if not applying under the early action deadline would lessen a student's chance of being accepted?</p>

<p>The EA deadline really is Dec 15.</p>

<p>I believe the acceptance rate for ED and EA candidates is slightly higher than for RD applicants, in other words, the early ones do have somewhat of an edge, but it is not a huge difference. If I recall correctly, the acceptance rate is something like 10% higher for the “earlies.”</p>
