Early Action vs. Regular Decision Financial Aid

Is there a significant difference in financial aid packages for EA vs. RD applicants? I know some colleges have a "priority deadline" for scholarships/grants. I couldn't find anything about this on UMich's website... Anybody here know anything?

UMich is now making it clearer that major merit aids that does not require additional application are only open to EA applicants.

“Be sure to apply early for admission to U-M. And if you feel you may need financial assistance, apply for financial aid early too. In general, equal consideration for scholarships is given to eligible students who:
-have been admitted to U-M by February 1 (note that a few scholarships have different deadlines)”

I just found this. So it’s EA or bust…

Also look at the scholarship page on engineering website:

If there is something left, they may offer it to RD admitted students.
