early action vs. rolling admission

I am currently applying to NJIT and i have to decide between early action or rolling admission. Which one would give me a higher chance of being accepted?

I heard that sometimes early action makes you decide if you want to go to that college or not before you get the admission results from other colleges. Is that true?

I would call the admissions office because the web page is unclear. Not only that I put early action into their FAQ and got this:

It looks as though they are using those early action deadlines as a way to space out the apps they receive. Call and ask. Then post the answer for others.

Early action is typically non-binding (early decision is binding). I would contact admissions to determine which is the best option for you.

^ True. I didn’t follow the thought thread all the way. In either case you’ll get an early admission and won’t have to select a school until after you get all your acceptances and can weigh the financial aid awards.
