Early Action! Yale or Georgetown?

Hi all.
I am trying to figure out a) What my chances are of getting in to the schools I've selected and firstly b) Whether I should pursue early action at Yale or at Georgetown (since I think Yale is single-choice).

Class Rank: 2/405
GPA: 4.0 unweighted 5.65 weighted
SAT I Scores: 800 Critical Reading 760 Math 800 Writing
SAT II: 780 U.S. History 730 Literature 690 Biology E

National Honor Society, Math Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society

Sampling of extracurriculars: Student body president, concert-mistress of school orchestra, lead soloist in 2 musicals thusfar (I also do the dramas), Drama Club president, Girl Scout Gold Award candidate, Hebrew School for 5 years (I also help teach the younger students on sundays), Model UN.
Summers: Counselor at a performing arts camp, Commedia dell'Arte teacher, I just finished up an Israeli community service / leadership exchange program where I ran my own service project during the year and volunteered there for 3 weeks.
Fluent in Spanish and Hebrew, and I am teaching myself Russian and French.

Am I better off taking a chance with Yale, or should I go with Georgetown??
The other schools I am looking into include: Harvard, Princeton, Penn, Duke, Tufts, and Brandeis.

You have reasonable chances at either Yale or Georgetown. EA gives you an extra advantage (although I expect some may dispute that). Statistically you’re likely to need to fall back for RD on your full list however you decide. So trying to predict whether the odds are better with one choice rather that the other is not possible.

Pick the college you like best and apply there EA.

you have good chances at both… georgetown would probably be best for you… specifically the SFS school… you seem to appear to have a interest for multiple languages… I think G-Town respects that

I was thinking of double-majoring between Neuroscience and International Relations (focused in the Middle East) so I don’t know how flexible SFS is at Georgetown, but I guess that’s a whole separate issue.

Good chance at both? No, no unhooked candidate has a good chance at Yale. We’d need to know more, what state, what ethnicity and what type of HS for a start.

Aah sorry.
State = Maryland.
Ethnicity = White (non-hispanic)
HS = Public, it’s a pretty good school though.
