<p>does anyone know when early action letters are mailed out?</p>
<p>Are they mailed? I thought we get emails. We’re supposed to find out by Saturday. I figured I might hear earlier but maybe not.</p>
<p>I thought they were mailed I didn’t know that we were supposed to get emails.</p>
<p>My D. received her letter of acceptance a few weeks ago via the mail.</p>
<p>I got differed to the regular decision pool.</p>
<p>Monmouth University has two deadlines for the admission process.</p>
<p>Early Action
Application Deadline: December 1st
Notification Deadline: January 15th</p>
<p>Regular Decision
Application Deadline: March 1st
Notification Deadline: April 1st</p>
<p>Just to clear a few things up about MU’s Admission Process:</p>
<p>Monmouth will send all decisions via US Mail. We will not send out any undergraduate decisions for new students via email or by phone. Sometimes we will defer students from the Early Action application to the Regular Decision process. This is not a rejection letter. The reasoning for this is to give the student more time with the application. Monmouth may be interested in seeing a mid year report (updated transcript) in order to see improvement. Or, it may be of interest to take the SATs or ACTs for another time. If you have any questions as to what might be best for your individual application, contact one of the admission counselors:</p>

<p>When will I hear back from Monmouth. I’ve been deferred from the Early Action pool to the Regular Decision pool. Is there a rough time when these decisions will be made?</p>
<p>I applied this month and as of last week all of my materials were in.</p>
<p>Anyone have an idea of when I’ll hear a decision?</p>

<p>With the early action deadline, you will hear back by January 15th at the latest. You may hear a little earlier, but no later than the 15th of January. Please let me know if you have any other questions. </p>
