hey
for those of you who applied EA to northeastern do we really need to send first quarter grades? at this point, i feel like they can only hurt me.
i got these grades unweighted:
ap comp- 94
religion (ethics & law) -_-: 85 (my spiritual journal wasnt deep enough.........)
ap psych: 86
calc: 87
con-law: 90

:(

whattt do i doooo? im planning on bringing my grades up next quarter, but i dont want this to ruin my chance for northeastern :(

im not sure… i just emailed my college guidance counselor asking if she could not send them… if they are sent, do you think they’ll hurt me? i usually have it all above 90s and a 95 gpa. 31 act.

I think they will require grades from at least one marking period before making a decision for EA. NU doesnt release decision on EA until Jan 1st. To not send any grades by then would look unusual.

I think they are strong enough to get you in.

^^That’s why it is best to check the official website instead of relying on guesses by some people on CC:
<a href=“Applying for Financial Aid | Undergraduate Admissions”>Applying for Financial Aid | Undergraduate Admissions;
“Secondary school transcripts including senior-year first quarter and midterm grades when available. If you have been out of high school for more than one year, you must send a current version up to date”

Has conflicting info, further down on page specific to EA says:
Early Action candidates should send their first-term grades as soon as they are available.
