Got in! Congrats to everyone and so glad the wait is over! Do they let you know if you get direct admit to the business school in the email or do you have to wait for the letter? Thanks

Congrats to everyone who received their decision today!! @sasho11‌ I think you have to wait for your letter in the mail but I’m not positive. You could probably email your admission counselor!

Congrats to everyone! i also got in! do you have to wait for them to send you your package to find out about merit based offers or will they be on your portal?

@Northerngirl531‌ you just have to wait until they mail you your packet.

yea in the email it says they will send all the other information by regular mail

Congrats to everyone! DD is in! so thrilled for her and just wait to get the packet from Denver.

Will the admissions packet be sent by regular mail for Internationals also?

GOT IN!!! :"> :"> :"> :"> :"> :"> :"> :"> :"> :"> :"> Congrats to everyone else who got in!!

Intlvard - I can’t remember how the DU packet was sent to my D overseas last year, but I know it was one of the few that arrived not too long after the decision was posted . It was not regular mail. Congrats to all. My D is doing a gap year and will join the DU class of 2019.

Packet arrived today - D is getting Pioneer Scholarship - $15,000 total (3,000 is towards housing). That was a nice little christmas gift.

so, what are your thoughts on Denver. We have a significant merit award also and child loves school. So, it would be cheaper than other schools and preferred by child. So, I think thats great, but I want to be sure that school is a great place to go to school and I don´t know the area well. Everything I have heard is fantastic, small classes, friendly community, great neighborhood but it almost seems to good to be true.

I have heard really good things about Denver. Apparently it’s incredibly beautiful, in a safe location and the people are really nice! I would love for my son to go there! He got in with a really good scholarship offer (Chancellor scholarship of $23,000 per year), but I’m still not sure we can afford the remaining cost of tuition + room/board. :frowning: (I’m estimating we would still be left with around $30,000 in expenses and we were shooting for $20,000 or less.) However, I really love the idea of him going to DU, so you never know! Still planning to file financial aid paperwork after January 1, and maybe that might help?

Good luck to everyone!
