<p>Hey, anybody here apply early action?</p>
<p>If so, did you receive a confirmation e-mail/letter? I sent in my forms early November, probably about two weeks ago and haven't heard anything yet. I looked on their website, but the application status checker isn't available until the 26th... </p>

<p>I haven't received any confirmation either. I know that many of the colleges are swamped with applications, so they are probably taking a bit longer than normal to enter the data into their systems.</p>
<p>I got a letter with a username and a password about three weeks after i applied i think, still waiting til Nov 26 to check everythings in which i think it is.</p>
<p>A Binghamton Rep came to my school and I asked him a similar question. He said it had to do with whether or not you used the SUNY or Common App.</p>
<p>I received a confirmation letter but still haven't received the letter with the username and password yet. I applied in early October with the SUNY app.</p>
<p>I submitted everything November 1st. They probably got it at most a week later. Meaning it's been about two weeks since they've received it. </p>
<p>And their status checker isn't working despite the claim that it will be up after November 26th. I e-mailed the e-mail they listed there asking when it would be up, since it's not already.</p>
<p>I tried calling earlier to see if they even got my application, but I called after 6ish, way after business hours. Hopefully I'll hear soon. I'm getting all paranoid they didn't get it. </p>
<p>But two other schools sent me confirmation letters. So my school didn't just NOT send my stuff. </p>
<p>I need to chill on the paranoia.</p>
<p>I'm sure everything will be fine..at least that's what I'm telling myself! If you guys get any info please update! I still haven't received my username yet.</p>
<p>I emailed Binghamton's admissions office and they said they're just busy and the status checker should be up shortly. =D That made me feel better.</p>

I checked the site last night and saw that big message. I haven't yet gotten the emaily ID thing, or my PIN number or whatever. </p>
<p>I'm so impatient. I hate waiting for things. Especially important things.</p>
<p>Just curious, is Binghamton any body's first choice/within the first three choices for anybody here?!</p>
<p>Yes Binghamton is my top choice.. Well I still haven't heard from them so I'm getting impatient as well..I just want the ID and password already!</p>
<p>I got an email too a few days ago that we would recieve our ID and passwords this week because they were getting a new coputer system or soemthing and it was currently being set up.</p>

I read their site and they said a similar thing, that it's being delayed three weeks. </p>
<p>But the ID comes in the e-mail and the other thing, in a snail mail letter, according to the status checker online. </p>
<p>I just want to know now. Or even sometime in December would be nice. I want mental sanity. </p>
<p>And bbyy, Binghamton is my (realistic*) first choice too!</p>
<p>*That meaning, my ideal choice would be Brown. But the odds are that I will end up at Binghamton, but I'd be happy nonetheless.</p>
<p>Well we should hopefully find out by the 15th b/c thats the time when all EA/ED things come in</p>
<p>But January 15th is SO far away.
I mean not really, but I'm so impatient. </p>
<p>I know somebody who applied EA last year, and they found out Dec. 26th, so I don't know if that was just because it was organized, or if they say it's later than it will actually be... </p>
<p>So who knows, I may know later this month, I may not know till January... but the suspense is painful.</p>
<p>no dec 15th i meant is when they put the results online and by jan 15th u get it int he mail at least thats what i think</p>
<p>15th as in December or January? I read last years post and it seemed like the decisions started coming in 12/15..but I don't think that would happen this year because of the new computer system.. I called them last week to check my status and they only have my SAT scores and the SUNY app on file, so I'm guessing they are really delayed this year.</p>
<p>Yeah, from what I understand they are extremely backlogged. I can't believe it's being delayed 3 weeks. I don't think I can wait that long!</p>

<p>And I cannot wait this long either. It's annoying, after all the stress of college applications, the wait is the thing that may kill me.</p>
