Early Action

Can I apply EA to more than one school? I've heard that you can only apply early to one school, but what's the real deal?

You can, as long as the school isn't Single Choice Early Action, like Harvard or Yale. A lot of people apply early to MIT and Caltech because they are Multiple Choice Early Action, but other Multiple Choice Early Action schools i know of are UChicago and Georgetown. Theoretically, you can apply to all 4 early.

what happens if you apply to two schools early decision.. are you screwed or.. wut.. lol

When you apply ED, you, your parents and your counselor sign a contract saying you will not apply to any other school for early admissions (with a few exceptions).

I think I'll go MIT/Caltech EA.....that'll be good. Thanks guys.

is brown ea? what about stanford? which is multiple-choice? thanks.

i think brown's ed. stanford's SCEA. MIT, Caltech, UChicago, Georgetown are all MCEA.

Brown is ED and Stanford is SCEA.
