Yale is probably one of my top schools that I want to attend. So would anyone leave any suggestions on whether EA or Reg is better.

Thanks:)

I would do SCEA [single choice early action] if it really is your #1.

definitely apply SCEA if it’s your number one choice because you’re not absolutely forced to attend if you’re accepted but it’s a pretty comforting to know you’ve already been accepted at the world’s most amazing university before most people have even finished applying…i did regular decision only because i didn’t have my app ready in time for SCEA but i probably would have done it…the acceptance rate for SCEA is rather high compared to the regular decision rate of somewhere around 5% but the applicant pool for SCEA is significantly stronger because it’s full of kids who are intent upon getting in lol i would say definitely do it though, worst case scenario: if you’re rejected SCEA then you probably would have been rejected in the regular decision anyway but otherwise you’ll be deferred and you’ll just have to wait a little longer…go for it
good luck, maybe ill see you on campus soon

thank you dvictorio:)

If your application is in top form by the early deadline and Yale is your number one choice, then go ahead.
