Nothing in NY yet. Applied very early.
Same as both of you, from PA, applied very early, still awaiting.
From Philly and my son applied Sept. 1 and has not heard
Stay positive . It’s still early and most decisions come out in Feb. As I said earlier, son received his letter mid Dec last year , and he had provisional acceptance and was also admitted to Calhoun Honors last year . It does not mean anything that y’all haven’t heard yet. Good luck everyone.
What was her ACT to get $15,000?
A 32 ACT or 1400 typically gets the highest scholarship @Michthebeech
She is top 10% and 32 ACT and only got $10,000
They may have adjusted the scholarship awards this year . In or OOS student? GPA?
@carolinamom2boys 3.81 unweighted. 7 APS 2 dual enrollments courses, several extra curricular activities.
ECs are not considered .GPA , test scores, rank and rigor are how things are weighted . Instate or OOS? They must have changed their scholarship structure this year .
@carolinamom2boys --I think Michthebeech lists home state as Mass. so they are OOS if I looked at it correctly.
Yes, sorry OOS. Massachusetts. I though I included that.
OOS in Wisconsin hoping to hear soon. 32 ACT, 3.85 UW (Ind. Stdy Organic Chem, 7 AP’s, 5 Honors Classes). Class doesn’t rank b/c it’s one of the most competitive schools in the state, but I’m definitely in the top 10%.
I am also OOS in Tennessee hoping to hear soon. 30 ACT 4.0 UW (unfortunately my school does not weight at all. I tried to calculate it. It was around a 4.5 when I did it, but I doubt that is correct.) with 7 AP’s. 12 Honors classes. #1 in a class of 300 at a medium sized high school. AP Scholar with Honor and National Merit Commended Student (Not a semi finalist though). I applied in Late August.
From what I have heard, students with similar statistics were accepted in mid December. So, I’m hoping for word soon! Good luck to everyone still waiting to hear.
@thatpreppygirl From what I saw from last year, it looks like Dec 15 - Jan 1 was a popular time for some of the earlier notifications. Hoping for that letter to come soon since Clemson is my first choice! Good luck to everyone else, and keep us updated on your acceptances as you receive them.
anyone from the west coast here back? have only seen people from sc/east coast
They sent out another batch of acceptances! Fingers crossed for everyone still waiting to hear.
@thatpreppygirl how do you know?
@nervousnellllly A few of my friends that live in South Carolina posted on Instagram and twitter saying that they got them last night in the mail.
do you know if they got scholarships as well, or was it just admissions decision?
