When are these decisions supposed to be released? I don't remember reading any certain date for it. I am getting worried my e-mail was wrong or something was not processed correctly...Thanks ahead of time!

To my knowledge it is this thrusday, 1/15 for sure... i know many applicants who applied early action, i applied regular

Indeed, decision time is tomorrow, however since we weren't provided some account in which we could log in to check our status, how exactly will we figure out? Will we just receive an email?

Any NC Residents know?

Where did you hear that admission decisions for NC residents on the early action plan would be released today? I heard it was the 17th and I cant find anywhere online that says it, but hopefully you are right!

Hmm, well I had the 15th date in my mind ever since applying last month and a few of my peers also seemed to think the 15th. Because the Direct Application (Early Action, really) we did as North Carolina residents is not open to all there is not any information on their website about it.

Anyway, how are we to figure out the decision because I cannot log back into the application and there was never a section about status there initially, Will they just email us?
And finally, as far as the date goes, the best option would be to either call admissions and ask or just wait it out.

PS - the 17th is a Saturday . . .

I called Admissions. They went out today.

How were we notified?

They mailed them today. No information is online.

I am an NC res and i applied on 1/1/09 and i got my decision today. :(

Really now?

Did anyone get a rejection letter today? Everyone I talked to that got a letter today was accepted..

ya i got a rejection letter and i didn't even do ea i did rd(this is bad, i got rejected so fast)

so you didn't apply as an NC applicant?

No i applied as an NC res but i didn't do early action i did regular decision and sent my application on 1/01/09 and i got rejected. i don't know why i got rejected so fast. They could have waited and been nicer about it :(

I think they did the nicer thing. As soon as you know you're rejected from a college, you can cry about it (we all will) and sulk for a few weeks... and then get back up on the horse and reconfigure your college situation.
