I wasn't sure where to post this (Pre-med Forum or Georgetown), but I had a question about Georgetown's EAP for Med School. I am actually a sophomore physics major who is thinking about applying for the program in February, I was wondering what are the previous statistics of people who got in (like GPA, extracurriculars, etc.) and the acceptance rate of previous years (I remember being told that 5 people got in two years ago out of a possible 9).

In addition, how important are Letters of Recommendation to the process? I do a number of extracurriculars outside of Georgetown (NIH research, GUH volunteering, and GUH clinical) and the recommendation letters all must come from within Georgetown University (not hospital), where I have had not really made any personal bonds with the teachers. Thank you.
