Early, but why not

<p>I'm going to be an incoming junior, and was just curious about my current standings (and how to improve on shortcomings)
Unweigthed GPA: 3.9 (1 B+ in Freshman year)
Took all honors, next year will be taking</p>

<p>Honors English 11 (Weighted, school does not allow AP until senior)
Honors Precalculus (Weighted)
AP Biology (Weighted)
AP Chemistry (Weighted)
AP US History (Weighted)
Spanish 3</p>

<p>Senior Year

-Kendo (martial arts in case you don't know) 7th-present, 2nd degree Black Belt
-Piano (nothing impressive, passed advance with honors this year)
-Boy Scouts (Eagle Scout)
-Founded an outdoor activity/camping club at school, am treasurer
-Member of Academic Club, participate in random tournaments (Treasurere next year)
-Currently Doing Internship program at Stanford Medical Center in Neurology (not CCIS)
-200+ Service Hours (from homeless shelter for 3 years, and Eagle Project)
Awards
-National Ocean Science Bowl 2nd Place National (This year)
-Northern California Quiz Bowl Tourney Winner (not sure how official this is)</p>

<p>Most likely will go to Osci Bowl nationals again next year, and same thing for National Quiz Bowl (NAQT)

<p>assuming your scores can be extrapolated correctly based on your PSAT and SAT IIs, then you have a shot everywhere. </p>

<p>For your ECs, try to solidify your participation in just a few of them. Be very active, and try your best to make a difference. </p>

<p>Your junior year is the most important. Really take advantage of every oppurtunity you have to take a leadership role.</p>

<p>if you do as well on your sats as on your psats, youve got little to worry about. since you still ahve a year before you apply to college, focus on your extra curriculars - zooming in on what you care about most and taking leadership roles.</p>
