Early chance me

Hi guys,

I'm currently a student at Bellevue College. I am planning to apply to UW Seattle's mechanical engineering program. So far I have about 30 credits, but I am not going to apply until I get 90 credits. My stats are below:

30 creds so far @ 3.58 GPA (Calc I: A-, Calc II: A-, Phys. 121: B+, CS210: A-, CS211: A, Eng. 101: B+, Soc. 101: A, Poli Sci: B+). I had a 3.66 until last quarter, but then I ran into medical issues a few weeks before finals and foolishly decided against pulling out for the quarter, hence my B+ and B in Phys121/Poli Sci...

EC: I have a job as a part time office assistant, though I'm not sure if that's a true EC or not. I also have completed about 120 hours of community service during high school, though I'm not sure if that's still relevant. I am also applying for an internship at Boeing this summer, though I'm not sure what my chances.

I know this is somewhat early in the game to start making predictions, but if you could chance me anyway I would be very grateful! Please calculate under the assumptions that I finish my 90 credits with a 3.6 GPA and that I get an internship.

Thanks!

PS - I used the following tool to get a feeler for my position:

Also, I forgot to mention that I scored a 34 on the ACT. However I took it during high school. Does it still apply or will I need to re-take it?

If you have to take more physics, take it with Kevin Wheelock and if you have to take more Political Science, take it with Dr. Leena Shah. They’re great.

Thank you, I’ll keep that in mind!
