Early Dartmouth Acceptance Letter

Hey, i'm really psyched, i just got this letter in the mail today saying,
"... There is no question that when we mail our final decisions at the end of March, you will be offered admission to the College. I see no reason to delay letting you know about the promising status of your application, and I hope this early indication will 'ease your mind' a bit."

I've heard of likely letters, in fact i've got a likely letter from SEAS last week, and I know Darmouth gives around 500 likely letters a year.

But about how many early acceptances do they give a year?
Or are "likely letters" at dartmouth merely early acceptances?

I don't know how many they send out, but your likely letter means you are IN.
CONGRATS!!!!!
So rejoice and celebrate your success!

thank you very much for your reply!
yeah, i guess the number sent out really doesn't matter anyway!

Congratulations!!

Hey cd12312! I got a likely letter as well! So are you going to go, or are you going to wait for the other decisions to come out?

hey, if i have not heard anything from dartmouth yet this year other than your admission decision will be available 5pm ET on the 31st of March, does that mean i more than likely did not get in????? All the threads that i've read so far, either say they received some letter or word from the D or heard some news about their admissions. If nothing has been heard does that mean im more than likely not in?????

^ Not receiving a letter does not mean anything. Good luck!

wow that is really surprising!!

Hey what was your application like?>

I mean sat scores, GPA, etc
