okayyyyyy,
so I've taken the ACT twice already, got a 28 the first time, and took it again today, have absolutely no clue what I got. I'm worried, however, that it won't be good enough. I'm definitely applying early decision at Northwestern, and the deadline is November 1st. If I take the ACT again on September 15th, will I be able to get my scores sent on time (if I do priority shipping or w/e?)

Also,
has anyone else done something like this when applying early decision?

As a side note, does a 28-29 utterly put me out of the running for Northwestern? (I'm a legacy there)

Thanks!

If you look on the Northwestern site, here: http://www.ugadm.northwestern.edu/freshman/applying/frosh.htm

It clearly states that you can take the test up to the October date for ED. I would recommend not rushing the scores, many schools dislike this, and as long as you're taking it when they say you can, it will get there in time.

I'm going to second the comment about not rushing the scores. Rushed scores arrive in a different format than regular scores, and from what I understand are time-consuming to transfer to the correct format. Go ahead and take the October ACT but don't rush the scores.

Yea, there is a September ACT so......
