I'm interested in applying ED to a school in november (the first, specifically), and i was wondering if there was any possible way that if i took my test in october that i'd be able to get my scores back in time.

I think you can, but when you sign up for the ACT, add your colleges in there. That way you can be sure that the test scores will get there on time. You will see the test scores in a month, and there is no guarentee that you will get your scores before Nov. 1 and then send them to colleges before the deadline. Also, check if the college does rush reports for Early Admission. Good luck! :)

I think all you have to have is to have taken the test by the date. So in other words (and without 3 "have"s in a sentence...what???) you're fine.

yeah, you're fine. Just make sure you chose that college as a recipient.

No kidding: the test is October 28. On November 1, the tests will still be sitting in a box at the test center waiting for UPS to pick them up.

CHECK WITH THE SCHOOL. The admissions office, and probably their website, should be able to tell you the last ACT test date for ED candidates.

Putting the school down when you register MAY get your scores to the school one or two days earlier than waiting until you see them early on the web and having the scores sent then.
