Early Decision Applicants

I get the same message when I check the application status, and they say I’ve sent in the same things as you. But I also got an email a few days ago saying the received my early decision application, so I’m not too worried. did you get that email too?

i don’t see anything on my page…
there is a menu on the top left corner and that’s it.
anyone else not seeing anything?

In the menu on the top left you click self-service and then application status. Does yours say incomplete too?

ohhhh . I see. mine says it’s complete :D

yeah when i open up that page there is something that looks sort of like a spreadsheet except it just has 2 rows (one with names: academic institution, term, academic career, program, and application number; the second row is just blank boxes) and then underneath it just says INCOMPLETE…

i got the email saying we received your application (the one that gave me the ID) but it was just that one email i didn’t get any more after that…

anyone else faced this and figured out what they were missing? I mean, is it probably just not processed yet, or do you guys think they will actually hold this against me? I wish I could tell whether it was just waiting to be processed or it’s legitimately not there…

I would call and ask to be sure.

I just checked my application status again. Yesterday it said incomplete like some other people’s, and today it says complete. I wouldn’t worry too much, it probably just takes some time for the website to go through and update the status of everyone applying.

I got my email just this morning. But I am international, so it will take some time for my stuff to go there. Let’s hope nothing gets lost in the way.

I was looking at the view book and there is something about having to mail a hard copy of the signature form re: ED. Does anyone know anything about that?

If you check the ED box on the CA, you will be prompted to “sign” the ED form. It has to signed by the student, parent and counselor. Each receives a message to complete. If not completed online, you can always submit a hard copy. Sounds like that is what they are saying.

^TY the view book wasn’t clear, but that makes sense-- and all three parties did sign (and common app has it noted that such is the case.) I am just being anal compulsive for a daughter who is floating in the stratosphere somewhere.

anybody know if there’s a chance we will find out before the 15th? the wait is awful…even though i know it’s less than two weeks, every day feels like a lifetime!

I have no idea…but I think they will simply release all notification on decembr 15th. But even if you don’t think so now, the days will go by faster than you think :)

i hope so! right now it feels like theyre dragging on…i have friends who find out on the ninth (from other schools i mean) and i’m so jealous

but i guess this is how they felt like a week or two ago

good luck to everybody!

I am an international student…Wish all of you guys luck since 15th is nearing…one more week!
