How did you find out the acceptance rate?

I think we should call… The office opens on Monday so we should all try haha!! And omg @pipermaru I haven’t been able to sleep properly because all I could think about was mount Holyoke and @superxx I really hope the financial aid link means something. I doubt it though. Ahh!

@hanz11 you can check collegedata or us news. It’s shows you last years Average stats just google: mount Holyoke college data/us news!

Wait @Itsatip95 the thing is for our applications ED1 or last year’s I am a little confused could maybe post the link?

@ Hanz, here’s the link: https://www.mtholyoke.edu/admission/class_profile it’s somewhere at the bottom of the page

[Mount Holyoke College Admissions Information - CollegeData College Profile](Mount Holyoke College Acceptance Rate | CollegeData)
Here you go!! So the thing is, collegedata and usnews both says that their regular decision acceptance rate is 51%. Supposedly, based on college data, the ED rate is 55%. Idk what year this is. The 49% can be found on mount holyoke’s website. I’ve been relying on college data because guidance counselor has been using this for a long time. Lol this is confusing!

Oh thank god! this is last year’s I thought you saw something about this year’s this is for the class from last year. Nonetheless, we are all still stressed and worried. Fingers crossed for all the girls :)

oopsie, I meant batch 2016 in my other post :))

I hope the rates this year are higher :o

I personally think we should go with mount Holyoke’s information… But honestly we don’t know what this years rate will end up being! I’m crossing my fingers that it’s just in our favor! :)

Hopefully, apparently they are supposed to answer on the last day of the second week of December at the end of the day does anyone confirm this or is it otherwise?

I hope so!!

they better accept us before Christmas, that would be an awesome gift! Maybe they’ll tell the accepted ones before the 25th, and the deferred ones later, so as not to ruin their holidays? I’m becoming more and more paranoid here

Fot the past couple of years the acceptances have gone out on the saturday of the second week. So I’m hoping that this time next week we’ll all know their descision. (fingers crossed) :)

I heard it was the Fridays but might be wrong a friend told me she got accepted on the 16th last year which was a Friday.

It might be that Friday and some people just didn’t check until the next day. It’s always the one day you don’t check that you get accepted. :)

This will be the LONGEST week ever!

My irrational fears are coming again. A week of waiting is long enough, imagine months (if deferred)! I’m worrying about the littlest things–like maybe my school got my grades all wrong, or my rec letters aren’t as good as i wish they would be.

And to the international students, did you take the TOEFL?

Yes the TOEFL is required for all international students so I guess all of the internationals took it. I just woke up dreaming about Friday. OMG this is going to be the longest week ever.

i’m an international student, but I didn’t take the TOEFL. I think it was optional?

Sigh, can’t wait until friday. Who knows, it might come earlier hopefully it does. Till then we’ll all suffer from insomnia and anxious dreams. i seriously need to calm down

Yeah, I didn’t take the TOEFL either. I hope they don’t require it! I’m pretty sure we’ll find out after the 16th of December. Friday is way too early in my opinion. Sometime after next Monday seems more likely.

I’m going to bring up the financial aid link thing again so bear with me. Has anyone been obsessively tracking Mount Holyoke on tumblr? If so, did you guys notice a current MHC student replying to an anonymous question about the financial aid link? This is what she said: “To that anon who just asked about ED – I got my ED decision on the 17th of December, and my financial aid link did go up a few days before, so I’d keep my eyes peeled for an email if I were you! Good luck, sweetie!”

Probably doesn’t count for much because it’s just one person’s experience but I thought it was interesting.

yup, been stalking mount holyoke on tumblr for the longest time. I haven’t seen that post though, for some reason there are so little new posts appearing on my dashboard
posts from other forums mentioned that they got the news on the 16th. I’ll check on tumblr again, hopefully i find new stuff.
