<p>ED is not appropriate if you want to compare FA offers. The ED FA decision is simply: Is it enough to make attendance possible? If not, you can decline the offer, since JH is a Common App school:

Should a student who applies for financial aid not be offered an award that makes attendance possible, the student may decline the offer of admission and be released from the Early Decision commitment.

<p>U can’t have your cake and eat it too. By def’n, I’d say, you are the exact type of person who shouldn’t be applying ED to anywhere. If you were my kid, I’d forbid you from doing it.</p>
