<p>Well, you have already acknowledged that your GPA is low and that you need to retake the SATs. I think your chances are middling at best, unless you kill the SATs the next time around.<br>
Of course, that does not mean that you won’t get in, because there will a number of successful applicants with no better numbers, so your challenge will be to persuade the Adcom that you are a more attractive candidate than the others in the same objective range.</p>
<p>You have a good chance. What’s your Math + Verbal score? Anything above a 1350+ is solid for ED. Your schedule is rigorous and your ECs are very impressive.
I’d say the only weak spot is your GPA but your volunteer hours in the hospital and your role as vice president of the student counsel probably makes up for that.</p>
<p>Right now my Math+Verbal is right at 1380 but I plan to retake since my CR was the lowest of my 3 areas… Thanks for the opinions guys! I’m thinking either Northwestern University or Johns Hopkins ED as I am torn between the two as my top choice…</p>
