@bingow Great. Thank you!

hey people, im an international applicant (indian), though im applying from a small country called Guyana, but anyways: 2130 sat score, great essays, and a nice mix in ec’s (by which i mean both musical and athletic). i got 2 4’s and a 3 in ap tests. what do you guys reckon?

@TheOneWhoCould Well i do not really know anything about Colgate and their international applicants, but your SAT score sure is impressive; way higher than mine. If you have good essays and and a well rounded background like you say, I would think that as a domestic applicant you would probably get accepted. Again not sure how they look at international compared to domestic.

If you are truly interested in Colgate, I suggest go for ED. Much better chance to enter.

I applied ED to Colgate, and I’m from CA. Does anyone know if they send out acceptance/rejection letters at the same time? Or do they do acceptance first? I’m so nervous to hear back :-/

@beachgirl18 They send out all the letters this Friday, the 12th. Apparently there’s also a way to tell if you got in without opening the envelope but I won’t say how. Don’t wanna ruffle anyone’s feathers. Haha. GOOD LUCK

Thickness of package

@201lifestyle How do you know? Are you sure?

According to my friend who graduated in 2013 she got a big package which meant she got in becauss she had to sign papers and send them back. My other friend who got in last year just got a small envelope saying she was accepted. So not a 100% sure but I just found out about the small envelope late last night after I posted on here. I mean they send out all the letters tomorrow. Next week we’ll hear from the horses mouth. Lol. All the best future raiders!

Umm I think it’s a big package. Last year, Colgate University’s Facebook had pictures of admissions officers holding big packages saying they would be mailed out soon.

Has anyone else gotten a message on their portal saying that your application review process is complete?

i got that message too. does yours have colgate as “Colgateâs” ? Could the â possibly stand for accepted or am i completely insane?

@kathrynstern I have that too. It’s funny how everyone on here pays attention to every little detail. lmao. But I think that’s just because it was supposed to be an apostrophe as in “Colgate’s Office of Admission” and there was a typo.

I think you’re just going insane :)) And yes mine has that typo too

Lol, I’m from South Florida so I do not really know how this works, but any one consider if its possible for a snowstorm to slow this whole process down? Is that a possibility?

yup same type, we’re insane lmao

I got a feeling we’re too smart for colgate to handle, that they’re gonna refer us to Princeton. Anyone?

WOW I’m nervous. The fact that the decision has been made, now we just have to wait to hear. I wonder how long it takes for a letter to get from upstate new york to los angeles

do you guys think that they sent out the letters today (thursday) or do you think they will wait until friday to send them out?

Im only two hrs away so im hoping that i can hear back by sat. Or monday. If you live in LA, it could be later depending on weather delays or the distance in general. If i can remember from my sister, the package was big. Good luck everyone!
