Early Decision Contracts?

Does anyone know if colleges allow applicants to fax Early Decision Contracts (agreeing that you will attend the school if accepted early)? Specifically for Washington University in St. Louis, if this affects the matter.

Thanks in advance for any feedback; I've been stupidly unaware that these EDs require a contract, and I don't want it postmarked a day late if I sent it tomorrow.

*** there is a contract?.. not when I applied…

WUSTL provides their fax number right on the Early Decision Agreement form:

I think that it’s safe to assume that they’ll accept a faxed copy.

If not priority mail it over to WUSTL since they probably need the agreement sheet before reviewing your app.

At WashU, they told me they will accept something as long as its postmarked on the 15th
