Hi, I am a rising senior interested in becoming a wildlife veterinarian. My passions and interests have always been in wildlife/zoology (not just in domestic animal science).

I have two paths that I want to take, and I need some advice.

Apply to Cornell University's CALS as a biology or an animal science major. Then, apply to Cornell's Vet Program.

OR... Apply to Purdue University's 7 year Veterinary Scholars Program, which guarantees a seat in the graduate program after graduating high school.

Cornell definitely suits my interests. Aquatic medicine, zoological medicine, and avian husbandry... Just amazing! And these courses are no where to be found in Purdue's courses. (They just have general small animal/equine/large animal tracks)

However, Purdue allows for security. If I am accepted to their program as a senior in HS, that means I already have acceptance to their graduate program as well.

Which would be the better choice? I need advice please.
