Does anyone know what the acceptance or rejection percentages are for early decision applicants that were deferred? I have improved my grades a little bit, started a paid internship at a local non profit and won an athletic award.</p>
<p>What are your stats?</p>
<p>3.1 unweighted GPA, 3.6 weighted, 1910 sat, great essays, great recs, and great extracurriculars. Interview went well too. I’m not necessarily asking you guys to chance me, but generally how often do deferred applicants get accepted?</p>
<p>It sounds like in your case, they may have wanted more grades. If you have a strong set of senior year grades that would help a lot. While, your ED status would be noted in regular decision, you will be in a bigger applicant pool.</p>
<p>Admissions told my daughter 10%-20% of ED deferred typically get in thru Rd.</p>
<p>Does anyone know what percent of people Wake defers Early Decision? Do they deny anyone?</p>
<p>My D was told that roughly, Wake denies about 25% of Early Deision applicants and defers 25%.</p>
