Okay, here's my situation. I want to apply to Penn, which I have an incredibly slim chance of getting into, but would go to in a heartbeat if i could. I want to apply Early Decision. I am signed up to take my subject tests in October, which gives me plenty of time to send them in. But, I also wanted to take the reasoning test once more because I know my current scores are way too low. The next test date after Oct is Nov 1st. Will I be allowed to rush those scores for early decision? If i can, do you suggest I take the reasoning test in Oct and the subject tests in Nov, or vice versa? Time has flown by so quickly and I'm really dissapointed in myself for not getting these things done sooner. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

do you have to have subject tests for penn?

subject tests are required for penn. I suggest, if u dont already have, to take them first. and then on the blank spot for SAT's, write that you will take them Nov 1. hopefully they won;t discriminate you for your low scores and wait for your new ones to arrive.

From the Penn website:
[quote]
Early Decision candidates should take these examinations either during the junior year or in the summer before the senior year, but no later than November 2008. Early Decision candidates who opt for November examinations must rush their test scores to us.
