<p>Since you’ve already stated that you’re going to attempt to bump your ACT up, that’ll help you. But, schools like Duke usually advise that you take one or more SAT subject tests. Also, maybe you should attempt taking the SAT. In addition, your GPA is slightly low. I think it might be a reach.</p>

<p>Honestly for Duke, your ACT is low as is your GPA to a lesser degree. Your ACT score would be in the bottom quartile of admitted students.</p>
<p>Your GPA and ACT isn’t too high, but your hook and ECs are definitely getting you in. Now really, reaaaallly work on your scores so they don’t taint an otherwise great application. All the best
