Early Decision/Early Action thread

Hello guys, this is a thread for early decision and early action. If you are planning to apply ED, EA or both then please post your plan here. Also, if you know anyone who is applying ED EA or both then mention the colleges here.
As for me, I haven't decided about ED and EA yet. But I think I will be applying to UPenn. What about you guys? Post here...

what the hell has happened to the nepali cc users?
95+ views and no one dares to comment?
C’mon guys , don’t be shy, or you guys are too afraid to tell your ED college :confused:
Look at the threads of the class of 2015, how much involved they were. That must have been the reason for so many acceptances.

Well for me, I will surely apply to a LAC for ED .
Trinity, Lafayette and Middlebury are on my top list .It can change later, though!
Everything depends on my SAT scores

Hey guys?? where are you all? I thought you all would be commenting and posting here… I know SAT is coming near but it will always be beneficial to talk and share your plans… Hope all of you will be posting and commenting soon…

a bit of advice: Research your colleges properly and try to look for the best “fit” between you and the college, not necessarily the “best” college in itself.

LAC fo sure…Buh not yet fixed…Depends on my Essay :-)

thinking of a LAC. not sure about my choice though.

CC nepali guys…nice to meet you…I’m also from Nepal, Kathmandu. I’m also thinking of applying EA…but it depends on my October SAT score. I haven’t really thought of which university should I apply on EA. Can you suggest some Univ guys??

And guys >>“LAC” is which university?? are you talking about UCLA??

LAC=Liberal Arts College

I have already applied SCEA to Tulane University! It was the only school that I visited where I actually got ‘that feeling’!

How many of you were present yesterday in USEF for UPenn’s info session?? I think I am falling for UPenn… what about you guys??

Yeah I was also present USEF’s upenn session. Now I think it is not good to apply upenn for EA. I think it is better to apply there for RD coz finanacial aids for international students are mainly funded during RD…that’s what she said at the session.

Oh! I wasn’t able to attend the session :frowning:
guess you guys had a wonderful time,
what other important things she said, anyone??

ya, that was what she said and that broke my heart. :frowning: Nevertheless, I will be applying to UPenn in RD. Now it seems I have to change my Early plans. Any suggestions guys??

@12hulk345 the session was good and informative as you would expect from a university like UPenn. Still you can ask for the brochure at USEF. I think they still have few left with them. The brochure also has a lot of information. I hope this helps!

@hangover: thanks mate !

@12hulk345- The session was great. She mentioned about alumni network at upenn…that was the main thing I engrossed into. As hangover2012 said it is better to take the brochure from USEF.

@hangover2012- ya man, upenn only for RD.

@elizabeth314- best of luck for Tulane.

thanks scourge!
And yes, happy coz this thread is finally gaining some momentum! :slight_smile:
And anyone who is the appearing for the IOE entrance examinations???

not a great fan of engineering, so no! :D

so, any LAC’s that have EA action plan? I’ve been looking for them, but haven’t found one!

wabash college and dickinson college.
I don’t know if there are any such other colleges!
