Swarthmore, Lafayette and Trinity are some good LACs that also offer engineering. If you are not planning to major in engineering then there are a lot of LAC choices.

@12hulk345- Nope dude, not retaking IOE entrance papers.

@12hulk345- Nope dude, not retaking IOE entrance papers.

fyi, Swarthmore and Trinity only have a general “Engineering” major while Lafayette has 5 majors under engineering: Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Electrical engineering and a bachelor of arts in Engineering studies.

Other LACs that have strong engineering programs: Harvey Mudd, Union

similar schools (though not LACs) that have engineering: villanova, bucknell

huh?
I thought trinity had four engineering majors
computer, electrical, mechanical and biomedical
as it suggests here:
[Bachelor of Science in Engineering](http://www.trincoll.edu/Academics/MajorsAndMinors/Engineering/Pages/BS.aspx)

Please clarify sixstringrocker

You guys know of other early action schools that offer financial aid?

I’m thinking of applying EA instead of ED.

Trinity engineering offers concentrations, not necessarily separate majors.

@sixstringrocker : Thanks, I googled and found out what the difference is .

@ sombre: you might wanna try an LAC for your EA . As I said dickinson and wabash have Early action programs and offer a lot of financial aid.

When are you guys taking SAT II for EA ?? I’m taking my SAT on oct 6, TOEFL on oct 28…but I think I won’t have time to give SAT II for EA. The deadlines of many colleges are Nov 15 so I’m somewhat kinda confused!!

@scourge: I am in the same condition. I suggest you to take the November date(Nov 3)
for SAT II. Most of the colleges have the deadline of Nov 15 but I am pretty sure they will consider your scores, which will probably be released by Nov 20. I will be doing the same!
best wishes!!

PS: don’t be late, the registration deadline is next thursday ( Oct 4th)

Does anybody know any college or university that is good for ED or ED2 for major in business…that gives good financial aid to students…

Aid does not usually depend upon major. Any school that offers decent FA and has a business program are good.

what if we get rejected on ED
, can we apply again for RD?

@cc2017
nope. If you get deferred, you will be considered for RD. Else, no.

Does it make any difference applying with our As level grades or whole A levels grade…Will applying with our As levels grades only effect in our acceptance or financial aid ?//

You are expected to send your most recent grades. If you’re received your A level grades, you must send them. you need to submit them later anyways. If found that you did good in AS and sent your AS grades, and then later when you submit your A level grades and it turns out to be terrible, your acceptance may be revoked.

after getting deferred, can we change our application, EC’s , SAT score?

you can certainly send an updated resume and send more SAT scores, if you take the SAT again but your application will remain the same. I don’t think you’ll be allowed to send a different essay or something like that. Sometimes, the colleges will say you dont need to send anything extra. So it’s usually best to ask the college.

Let hit up this discussion man! We are getting dormant day by day. Anyone who has decided on his/her ED or EA?

Hey guys. Favor me a bit here. Im basically a B Student in A levels and with stellar ECAs and leadership positions. Im expecting a descent SAT score and im thinking of doing my ED in either Skidmore, F&M, or Hamilton. Shout out to the nepalese prospective students. Bump. im open for suggrstions to decide on an ED COLLEGE.

Hey guys!
Do you know anyone who got into UPenn CAS with a low sat score of 1800-1900?
I just got my score and its 1870 (expected more cause i bombed the math part) … do i have any chance at all? Please let me know if anyone had actually got in with a 1800-1900 SAT and no hooks

Namaste!! I have applied ED I to COLBY… Any one else who has done the same and wanna share it?? (coz I guess that there are many who have but don’t want to share it yet)
