Early Decision / Early Action

The only difference is that one is binding and the other is non-binding, correct?

I know if I apply early decision, I can't apply early to any other schools. But can I apply early action (non-binding) to more than one school? Thanks.

i was justing asking myself the same question

You are correct, Trinitrondel.
Just remember that if you are accepted to a college that you apply to ED,
you must attend that college.

Therefore, only apply ED if you really really want to go to that collge.

Early decision is binding if you are accepted (basically means that you have to attend the institution). You can only apply ED to one college. The only way to get out of ED if you're accepted is if the financial aid awarded to you by the college is insufficient (by their standards, not yours).

Early action programs vary. Some colleges are more flexible than others when it comes to letting you apply EA to other places. Check on their undergrad admissions website.

So if I apply to two early action (non-binding) schools, I have to make sure both schools are okay with it, correct?

Also, does submitting my application earlier than the deadline help at all? I know some ED/EA admissions claim they accept applications from September to November. Does this suggest they do rolling admissions for ED/ED?
