I have two questions about Early Decision:

1) If my second teacher sends in his recommendation one or two days late and all other materials have already been received will that be ok?

2) Is it normal/even possible to send quarter grades for ED? My quarter grades are hopefully going to be very good and show my upward grade trend, but I don't want to send it if they're going to get frustrated with excess papers.

1) If you mean the teacher's recommendation will arrive at the admissions office a few days late, I'm sure that will be fine. Often that hard deadline is really for the things the student can control. Things that are coming from elsewhere (test scores, letters of rec, transcripts) get a little leeway.

2) Very many colleges will want to see the quarter grades for ED applicants. They understand that not all high schools publish quarter grades, so it's not an inflexible requirement, but if you have them you should send them. In this case it would not fall into the catagory of extraneous material. (You're lucky you have quarter grades you want them to see. More often we see students posting about how they really don't want the college to see their quarter grades. ;) )

Thanks rentof2. That makes me really happy :)
